Level I  - Physical Course This course is designed to meet and exceed ASNT SNT-TC-1A. At the Institute, we understand the importance of attaining a theoretical background in any technique before attempting inspections. Once the technology and process are fully understood, an in-depth results-orientated program can be initiated. This course will present case studies of real problems that the thermographer will experience in the field. To obtain maximum value from the infrared instrument, the method includes daily hands-on instrument operation that will teach the basics of the camera operation and the detailed operational features of your specific brand of infrared instrument. Applications from most industries will be covered so that you can inspect your site's equipment and processes appropriately.  Key Learning Outcomes Upon completion of the course, the students will be able to understand the feature limitations of the IR camera owned, maximize its use for a specific application, analyze thermal patterns, and write a comprehensive IR report. In addition, students will be prepared to write the Institute of Infrared Thermography Level 1 Infrared Thermographer certification exam. Who Should Attend? Infrared Thermography applications are so diverse that technicians, engineers, and professionals deal with temperature in their businesses. No previous experience is required. Course Delivery Physical Required Course Materials:

• IR Camera and lens/accessories (if available)- Students must have a camera. Don't hesitate to contact your local sales agent for an equipment rental if you require one. • Laptop and headset/earphones- Course delivery will be accessed virtually and through our online platform. • IR Software- Please have the software installed. This will be used during the workshop activities.
